Is it true that higher drying temperatures shorten drying times and produce better results?
The answer is definitely no. Higher drying temperatures in heat pump dryer don't necessarily shorten drying times. Simply put, the purpose of a dryer is to remove moisture from the material. However, drying efficiency varies depending on the dryer. A temperature of 100 degrees Celsius doesn't necessarily shorten drying time, and a temperature of 70 degrees Celsius doesn't necessarily lengthen drying time. This is because different dryers have different thermal efficiencies and drying modes. Temperature isn't the determining factor in drying efficiency; system design is the key. If the design isn't sound, even higher temperatures won't necessarily reduce drying time.

Example:
The above theory may not be entirely clear to everyone, so let's take the example of drying chili peppers. Chili peppers have a high water content. If we set a very high drying temperature for faster drying, what will happen? The chili peppers will become brittle and mushy, and we won't be able to produce high-quality results later.

Summary:
With heat pump dryers, the higher the temperature, the faster the drying speed and the shorter the drying time. Instead, the drying temperature, time, and stages should be set based on the material being dried.
